The Blue Devils breezed past the Pointers to the tune of 34-7 on Friday thanks in part to Canaday, who rushed for 179 yards and one score while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 59 yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards.
Gallia Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Alex Blair.
