Indianapolis Lutheran is a perfect 4-0 against Greenwood Christian Academy since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Saints will challenge the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Indianapolis Lutheran will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Indianapolis Lutheran proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Covenant Christian 3-2.

Gracie Boggs made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
Boggs wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Leyla Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Greenwood Christian Academy walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 24-4 win on Tuesday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.
Like Indianapolis Lutheran, Greenwood Christian Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Alexus Kieninger. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Kieninger was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Elle Schnake was a standout: she went a perfect 6-for-6 with five runs and three RBI. Those six hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sarai Gabrielle Robertson, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Greenwood Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .541. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Indianapolis Lutheran's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they moved to 7-13 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.
Everything went Indianapolis Lutheran's way against Greenwood Christian Academy when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Indianapolis Lutheran made off with a 17-2 win.
