On East Carteret's side,  Amilya Lewis made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over five innings pitched. Lewis was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-5 with two  triples, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  two  triples gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Ashley Mintz was a standout: she got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with six  stolen bases and four  runs.
