The New Brockton Gamecocks will challenge the Northside Methodist Academy Knights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. New Brockton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Everything went New Brockton's way against Luverne as New Brockton made off with an 11-3 win. Griffin Wood looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Bryant Crumpler was incredible, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Meanwhile, Northside Methodist Academy fell victim to Headland and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 17-0. The Knights' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
