After a string of six wins, East Duplin's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty Christian Academy Heat. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Heat apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
While East Duplin ultimately came up short, they really made Liberty Christian Academy work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 11-25, 27-25, 25-18.
