It was a good run, but The Deer Valley Skyhawks unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 28-20 to Estrella Foothills. Deer Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Estrella Foothills apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.
Although Deer Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Teddy Johnson, Brody Keith, and Paxton Coleston.
Estrella Foothills can attribute much of their success to Anthony Horne Jr, who rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
Deer Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Estrella Foothills, their win was their fourth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 7-3.
Deer Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Estrella Foothills also has no future games currently scheduled.
