Mckenzie scored a full 29.4% of Lawrence Central's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jaylah Lampley, who scored 14 points.
Lawrence Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for George Rogers Clark, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Lawrence Central will take on Ryle at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Ryle is ranked ninth in Kentucky, while Lawrence Central is ranked first in Indiana). As for George Rogers Clark, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
