It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dyersburg can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 52-51 to the Northview Academy Cougars. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.

Joya Crawford and Chelby Jordan certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Crawford shot 55% from the field on her way to 31 points, while Jordan went 7-for-11 en route to 16 points. Jordan is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games she's played.

Dyersburg's loss dropped their record down to 28-5. As for Northview Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-4 record this season.
