We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Normangee and Oakwood will really light up the scoreboard on Tuesday.
Normangee barely beat Brazos Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Normangee was the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over Brazos Christian on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Oakwood got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Centerville on Monday, sneaking past 16-14. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Panthers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Jaslen Milligan was a standout: she scored four runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Madison Churchill, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Normangee's record is now 5-10. As for Oakwood, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Normangee has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .448. However, it's not like Oakwood struggles in that department as they've averaged .603. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
