The Plano Reapers lost against the Johnsburg Skyhawks back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Plano took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skyhawks.
Plano's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josie Larson, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nylah Mathews, who scored 12 points.
Plano has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season. As for Johnsburg, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plano won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Cogs at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Genoa-Kingston is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Johnsburg, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Blue Streaks at 7:00 p.m. Woodstock will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
