Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Luther's offense. They lost 12-0 to Crossings Christian on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost six in a row.
Luther saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bo Browning, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.
Rush Springs' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8 runs. As for Luther, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
