Franklin Central suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 61-31 loss at the hands of Noblesville. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Franklin Central has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Perry Meridian came up short against Columbus North on Saturday and fell 54-46. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Perry Meridian in their matchups with Columbus North: they've now lost three in a row.
This is the second loss in a row for Franklin Central and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for Perry Meridian, they bumped their record down to 4-12 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road.
Franklin Central didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Perry Meridian in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, but they still walked away with a 39-34 victory.
