Tulpehocken won the last time they faced Columbia and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Crimson Tide with a sharp  13-1 victory. Considering the Trojans have won six games by more than six  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jared Baer made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off   six  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Luke Bowers was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with four  runs, three  RBI,  and two  doubles. Those  four  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Grant Gehman, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.
 Tulpehocken was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .459. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Columbia only posted a  batting average of  .261.
Tulpehocken's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Columbia, they now  have a losing record of 7-8.
 Looking ahead, Tulpehocken will head out to  square off against Schuylkill Valley  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Columbia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pequea Valley  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday.
