The Woodland Beavers will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Silas Rams at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Tuesday, Woodland came up short against Washougal and fell 49-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Woodland has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Silas pushed their score all the way to 62 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 75-62 to West Seattle. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (56), Silas still had to take the loss.
This is the second loss in a row for Woodland and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Silas, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Woodland came up short against Silas when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 63-54. Can Woodland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
