Maumee won the last time they faced Fostoria and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Redmen with a sharp 19-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Maumee picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 8-4. As for Fostoria, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the loss, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Maumee will host Clay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 2.6, the Eagles 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Fostoria, they will venture away from home to square off against Otsego at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
