Softball Recap: Kerens Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

There's no place like home for Kerens, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 21-4 margin over the Trinidad Trojans on Friday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Madison Dunham was incredible, firing off three home runs, ten RBI, and one stolen base while going 4-for-4. What's more, she posted three runs, the most she's had since back in March. Kayla Gonzales was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Kerens hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive matchups.

With the victory, Kerens broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-15. As for Trinidad, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

As of now, neither Kerens nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
