Chaparral had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Westminster Wolves 3-0 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row dating back to last season.

Luke Vigil paced Chaparral's offense, picking up ten kills. Vigil got some help from Jett Fobert and his 25 assists. Fobert was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
Westminster's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.
