Carroll got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Frisinger out in front who threw for 313 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 72 yards. Frisinger's passing game has become a key predictor of the Chargers' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise. Jaidon Vanpelt was another key receiver, gaining 158 total yards and three touchdowns.

The victory got Fort Wayne Bishop Luers back to even at 4-4. As for Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
