The Bloomfield Warhawks will be home for the holidays to greet the Manchester Red Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Last Friday, Bloomfield might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Sports & Medical Sciences Academy an easy 69-45 win.
Meanwhile, Manchester had to endure a three-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Platt at home to the tune of 70-19. The victory was just what Manchester needed coming off of a 79-51 defeat in their prior contest.
Manchester had a senior duo take command as Tiara Tyson scored 27 points along with nine rebounds and three steals and Elise Ryan scored 23 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Lawrence, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Manchester, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
