Kate Shipp was a standout: she went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Abby Stahl also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hayes kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Everything went Hayes' way against Westerville South in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Hayes made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pacers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
