Battle put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with an 83-82 win over Miller Career Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2019.

Battle's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Miller Career Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Battle and Kickapoo will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Kickapoo's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Battle has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season. As for Miller Career Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Miller Career Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Lutheran likes a good challenge.
