Prairie Heights' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Freed, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Stoy, who scored 11 points.
Prairie Heights' loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Fremont, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prairie Heights will take on Central Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fremont, they will head out on the road to square off against Adams Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Adams Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fremont in Indiana (Adams Central is ranked 84th, while Fremont is ranked 265th).
