After each having a week off, The Tescott Trojans and the Peabody-Burns Warriors will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Tescott got themselves on the board against Chase, but Chase never followed suit. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Kats 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tescott.
Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last matchup, Peabody-Burns made sure to put some points up on the board against Centre on Friday. Peabody-Burns came out on top against Centre by a score of 48-40.
Peabody-Burns got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Hurst out in front who threw for 260 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jameson Miles was another key contributor, picking up 177 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Tescott is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Peabody-Burns, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Tescott strolled past Peabody-Burns in their previous matchup back in September by a score of 45-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tescott since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
