Westfield had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falls Church Jaguars. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Westfield's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Falls Church are ranked 119th).

Westfield's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for Falls Church, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
