Sheridan had to settle for second on Friday, but Zay Stephens sure wasn't going down easily. Stephens' rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 111 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Stephens and Sheridan will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Memphis at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The Yellowjackets got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Blue Devils thanks in part to Stephens: he picked up 123 receiving yards and four scores, and also rushed for 111 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.
