The Mulberry Grove Aces pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 67-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ramsey. Mulberry Grove has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mulberry Grove lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jackson Icenogle, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. The game was Icenogle's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Carter Scoggins, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mulberry Grove's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Lincolnwood at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Ramsey will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Clay/Clay City at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
