Basketball Recap: Miami Skates Past Darrouzett with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miami). They blew past Darrouzett 62-10 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since January 12, 2024.

Leading Miami to victory were Gunner Lackey and Breken Early. Lackey went 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points and five steals, while Early went 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points and four steals. Lackey has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landry Dukes, who posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Miami was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Miami moved to 5-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Darrouzett, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Booker the next time they take the court. Miami will head out to face Booker at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Darrouzett will host them at 7:15 p.m. on January 17th.
