Manor New Tech had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They put the hurt on the Eastside Early College Panthers with a sharp 12-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Zane Thomas and Kingston Colter were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Thomas pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Colter tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Thomas has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit in seven consecutive appearances. At the plate, Thomas went 2-for-4 with one run and one double, while Colter went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Manor New Tech let Ahmad Riley and Nathan Saliangnak run wild. Riley went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Saliangnak went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Posada, who earned three runs and three stolen bases.

Manor New Tech kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in seven consecutive matchups.

Manor New Tech's record is now 16-3. As for Eastside Early College, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Manor New Tech has already played their next game, a 13-1 win against Travis on the 7th. As for Eastside Early College, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-1 defeat against Lago Vista on the 7th.
