When it comes to explaining why Candlelight Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alejandro Hernandez. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Hernandez is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rah'Quez Shepard, who scored eight points.
Jeremiah Pierre- louis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mater Brighton Lakes Academy, scoring 32 points. Pierre- louis continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Duriel Muehlbauer was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Candlelight Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season. As for Mater Brighton Lakes Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.
