On Friday, Stanford/Geyser/Denton are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Valier . Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-38, which was the final score in Stanford/Geyser/Denton's tilt against Grass Range/Winnett last Saturday.
Meanwhile, Valier had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-33 punch to the gut against Power/Dutton-Brady last week.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
