Jemison won against West Blocton last Thursday with 78 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Jemison Panthers walked away with a 78-71 victory over the Chilton County Tigers. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers who have now won three games in a row.

Chilton County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cayden Meank, who went 7 of 15 en route to 25 points and five rebounds. That was a full 35.2% of Chilton County's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Damarien Floyd, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Jemison's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Chilton County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jemison Panthers take on the Demopolis Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chilton County, they will venture away from home to square off against Gardendale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
