Despite a strong season so far, The Frisco Raccoons have seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were outmatched by Lone Star on the road and fell 41-10. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Frisco in their matchups with Lone Star: they've now lost four in a row.
Leading Lone Star to victory were Collin Blackstock and Davian Groce. Blackstock rushed for 20 yards and two touchdowns, while Groce gained 139 total yards and two touchdowns.
Frisco's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Lone Star, their win was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-1.
Frisco will take on Wakeland at TBD on Friday. Wakeland will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Lone Star, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Heritage will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Lone Star is ranked 52nd).
