The American Canyon Wolves will head out on the road to challenge the Palmdale Falcons at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with American Canyon sitting on four straight victories and Palmdale on five.
American Canyon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Lassen as American Canyon made off with a 43-20 win. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won nine games by 20 points or more so far this season.

American Canyon can attribute much of their success to Webster Burks, who picked up 78 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Andre Lopez, who rushed for 51 yards. The dominant performance gave Burks a new career-high in receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: American Canyon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 262 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 192 rushing yards in 21 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Palmdale sidestepped Selma for a 41-38 victory.
American Canyon better keep an eye on Joshua Suarez. He was instrumental in Palmdale's win, throwing for 300 yards and five touchdowns. Suarez is becoming a predictor of Palmdale's success: when he posts at least 300 passing yards the team is 8-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Joseph Mason, who picked up 95 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Palmdale is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points per game. As for American Canyon, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
