Judge Memorial Catholic will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Providence Hall extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Patriots never let American Leadership Academy get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Taycee Metts made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Alysa Marcek was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Johnson, who scored four runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Providence Hall hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Judge Memorial Catholic lost 25-13 to American Leadership Academy two weeks ago. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Emma Terhaar made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Belinda Hernandez-Padilla, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Providence Hall pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.6 runs over those games. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Judge Memorial Catholic's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Providence Hall has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Judge Memorial Catholic, though, as they've been averaging 11.1 hits. Given Providence Hall's sizable advantage in that area, the Bulldogs will need to find a way to close that gap.
