Huntington North had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Huntington North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-12, 15-10.

Grace Anderson paced Huntington North's offense, picking up seven kills. Anderson got some help from Myah Eltzroth and her 12 assists. Haley Hertel controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-7. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
