They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Atlantic Coast kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Fernandina Beach made easy work of Andrew Jackson on Tuesday and carried off an 11-5 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Isabella Bishop spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

Fernandina Beach's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Atlantic Coast hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. Atlantic Coast beat Fernandina Beach 5-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stingrays since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
