Given Higley's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Casa Grande is ranked 183rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Higley to victory were Luke Haugo and Noah Gloor. Haugo dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Gloor scored 23 points along with seven assists. Gloor hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Donovan Dabney, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Higley is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Casa Grande, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
