Auburn can't be too worried about heading out to take on PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central: they just beat Meridian at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Trojans came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 5-2 on Monday.
Meena Taylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.
