Westover had lost 12 straight at home dating back to last season, but  on Friday they dropped their record down to 0-16 to make it 13. They came up short against  the E.E. As for E.E. Smith, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-11. With that  victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.1  runs per game.
 On E.E. Smith's side, they got a  massive  performance out of  Keziah Speller, who  got on base  in five of her seven plate appearances with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. Speller is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Makayla Nearn, who  went 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple.
