Colbert County found their leader in underclassman Joyden Ricks, who scored 19 points. Ashlyn Harris was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, everything went Danville's way against the Eagles on Thursday as the Hawks made off with a 45-22 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Danville.
Colbert County is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Danville, they pushed their record up to 13-15 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Colbert County came up short against the Hawks in their previous matchup back in January, falling 53-47. Can Colbert County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
