Gary Tompkins made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Tompkins was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with a home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.
In other batting news, Zachary Papanicolas was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. Jaxson Delane was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.
