The Chowchilla Tribe will be playing at home against the Sierra Chieftains at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chowchilla has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Last Friday, Chowchilla didn't have too much trouble with Yosemite at home as they won 63-48.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chowchilla to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Deatherage, who scored 13 points along with five steals. Zayne Smith was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and two steals.
Meanwhile, Sierra can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 92-38 win over Riverdale. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 56-18.
Chowchilla pushed their record up to 11-8 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Sierra, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
