Central's Cameron Voss recorded the longest rushing play in Cahokia this season in his game against Wesclin last week. Voss scampered for 60 yards on the play and finished with 205 on the day as his team defeated the Warriors.
Columbia extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Red Bud, 49-0. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Central's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Rickhoff has thrown for 1856 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Jacob Timmerman has 56 catches for 898 yards. Voss leads the league in rushing with 659 yards.
Central's Rickhoff is within 144 passing yards of surpassing 2,000 on the season coming into this week's game against East Alton-Wood River.
Carlyle and the Oilers played the most hotly contested game in Cahokia this week, with Carlyle eventually emerging with a 28-27 victory.
