The Foxcroft Academy Ponies scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Dexter 62-35 at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Foxcroft Academy as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Doherty, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zak Adams, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.
The victory got Foxcroft Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Dexter, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foxcroft Academy will take on Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Dexter, they will head out on the road to face off against Mattanawcook at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
