Alex posted their biggest victory since January 11th on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Carnegie Wildcats with a sharp 68-45 win. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Carnegie still got an impressive performance from Karlee Tohkofper, who posted 26 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Tohkofper has posted since back in December of 2024. Kyleigh Bearbow also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Alex's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Carnegie, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-13.

Alex will take on Ninnekah at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Carnegie, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-36 defeat against Binger-Oney on the 4th.
