Empire had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Big Pasture Rangers with a sharp 14-2 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Empire's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Big Pasture, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
