USC-MAE is 1-9 against Downtown Magnets since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The USC-MAE Trojans will look to defend their home court against the Downtown Magnets Suns at 3:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with USC-MAE sitting on five straight wins and Downtown Magnets on four.

Meanwhile, Downtown Magnets put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They put the hurt on Orthopaedic with a sharp 61-37 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-12.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Downtown Magnets to victory, but perhaps none more so than Patrick Lei, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. Lei hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Jason Martinez, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
USC-MAE is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Downtown Magnets, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.
