 In other batting news,  Titus Yager was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Aaron Fielder was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Atkins fell victim to a  tough 16-1 defeat at the hands of Central Arkansas Christian  on Tuesday. Atkins has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Baptist Prep now  has a winning record of 9-8. As for Atkins, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
