Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Stern

Stern entered their tilt with Smidt Tech on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Grey Wolves 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on March 3rd.

While Stern might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Smidt Tech scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-20.

Stern's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. As for Smidt Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stern is set to square off against their familiar foe Animo De La Hoya at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Smidt Tech will challenge rival Los Angeles Leadership Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
