Dighton had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Golden Plains Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Dighton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22.

Dighton's victory bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Golden Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-14-1.
